This is a good guy. He is honest and he can help you source and ship parts for your Wilga. He is based in Poland and he helped us ship a door and right flap for our Wilga to Thailand. After we had paid him, then then informed us that he was able to save $700 on shipping and would refund to us. |

Please add us to your list. Sealand Aviation Ltd. markets the new Wilga 2000 in Canada, Northern USA and Alaska. Currently finishing off approvals for tundra tires, skis and floats. Amphib floats are next. Not too much experience with the Wilga 80 but we have been able to help out several people in sourcing parts. We have a good working relationship with the factory and were instrumental in the development of the new Wilga 2000MA. This is an awesome performer. |

Dear Tom - I have come
across your PZL Wilga list and would like to be placed on it. For some years
I have been gathering data on the Wilga in order to produce a book on the
history of the aircraft. I have had great help fro some Wilga owners,
Including Manel Avella and Kelly Vrem in Alaska, and also PZL-Okecie (as
was) and have maintained contact wioth Wojciech Gadomski, retired engineer
who was with the Wilga project from its beginnings. I do not own a Wilga but
would gladly accept any invitations to fill an empty seat on a flight! I would ask Wilga owners to pass on any interesting stories or snippets of information that may be worth including in the history. |

| Manel Avella | Cape Town, South Africa mavella@netactive.co.za |
Owns one Wilga. There used
to be three in South Africa. One still missing.... 07nov2006 -- Hi Tom, Just to tell you that the 3 Wilgas are now flying. 2 of them in Johannesburg and mine in Cape Town. Incidentally, I have been assisting with my Wilga, the local Marine Management and Save Our Seas Org. to survey the beaches for great white sharks. (it is a bit scary, I must admit). I also offer a service to the community that when they are having beach or sea competitions, I fly over the beach, check for dangers and take some photos. They seam to like it. Tom, could you arrange to open a proper Forum for Wilga. I think it is needed. Regards, Manel |
