Welcome to fly in Thailand!
I'm Neil at Pattaya Airpark. Firstly, please allow me to brief you some
regulations in Thailand. You can fly a Thai registration aircraft only by
endorse your license with DCA. It's not difficult to do so but you'll have
to be a member of an approved flying organization and then the president of
such org. give the certification of membership attached to the application
to endorse on your license.
You may apply to be a member of either one of this:
1. Pattaya Flying Club under Sport Flying Association (Thailand) at the cost
of Bht.9,500.- for the first year and Bht.7,000.- for the following years.
After 7 years of being membership constantly you'll be automatically convert
to a life member and paying only Bht.1,500.- annually . A one time life
membership is Bht.37,500.- and Bht.1,500.- for the following years. You will
receive 2 membership cards from Pattaya Flying Club / PFC and Sport Flying
Association (Thailand) / SFAT
2. Pattaya Flying Club under The Foundation for Preservation and Development
of Thai Aircraft under patronage of His Majesty the King (FPDP), you're
paying exactly the same as no.1, It's advisible if your interest is about
History of Aircraft, Vintage, Restoration etc.
NB. If you'd like to become both memberships, the different is you are
paying Bht.2,500.- more for the first year only.
3. Thai Flying Club, I think
you're paying Bht.10,000.- annually. For more details please contact TFC

Our Pattaya Airpark (PAP) is a new developing project that will combine all
facilities that a pilot can think of such as:
- A paved runway of 1870 ft. with no obstracle, now (we are trying our best
to extend to 2500 ft.)
- Pilot Village (about 35 units pilot home) will be started by Dec.2004
- Pilot Condominium (about 2-3 low rise condos) will be started around June
2005
- PAP Sport Club and Spa will be started aroung June 2005
- Taxi-in Pilot Resort will be ready by the end of this year
- Taxi-in Light house Tower Restaurant will be ready by the end of this year
- Pattaya Air Museum will be started aroung June 2005
- Chapter of The Foundation for Preservation and Development of Thai
Aircraft under patronage of His Majesty the King.
- Chapter under Sport Flying Association (Thailand), now
- Flying Group for Environmental Watch (Eastern Chapter), now
- PFC with services: FBO for Light plane maintenance, Pilot Lounge and
briefing room, Hangar for lease or rent, PPL training, Ultralight training,
Charter Flight, Flight-seeing, Sky diving,
The benefits for PFC member are:
- Automatically enrolled and approved to be a life member of SFAT and /or
FPDP
- Using Pilot Lounge, briefing room and facilities
- Discount for renting planes from PFC
- Discount for Air Charter and Sky Dive
- Discount at Taxi-in Pilot Resort
- Discount at Taxi-in Light house Tower Restaurant
- Discount at Pattaya Air Museum
We can assist to enroll you to be a member to one of those flying club or
all of them in advance if you can send us the photocopy of ID, Passport,
Licenses, log books if any, resume. Come by visit us at Pattaya Airpark. We
have Ultralight training course approved by DCA min.of 15 hrs.
(Baht.37,500.) flight training + ground school tuition for Baht.5,000. I'm
